The training to key farmers on gender mainstreaming policy and strategic framework in agriculture sector to promote gender equality in agro-production. The main topics are (Gender and sex , Gender equality and equality, Gender Stereotype, Gender Analysis , Gender role and gender need, Gender and climate change . The training course was producing by MAFF-NIO for Rice-SDP and coorporate with provincial department of agriculture traininer focal point Prey Veng province on 22-23 June 2017 and participant joint in training about 32 persons (12 women).
The objective of training are:
- To promote gender mainstreaming policy in agriculture sector
- To provide knowledge of gender policy to community
- To enhance the women’s empowerment to participant in agriculture development
